Functioning of the 20 mm Gun, M2 (OLDS), No. 30013 with an Increase in the Rate of Fire

Abstract

An investigation is reported to obtain the highest possible rate of fire and still maintain proper functioning of the gun. An average rate of approximately 750 shots per minute is the highest rate that can be expected with proper functioning of the gun and feed.
