Geolectric and Geomagnetic Studies.
Abstract
A decade of ONR sponsored research work at M.I.T. in geoelectricity and geomagnetism is reviewed. The specific areas of study include crustal electrical resistivity, mantle resistivity and magnetotelluric and magnetic variation measurements, Schumann resonances of the earth-ionosphere cavity, Alfven wave phenomena in the magnetosphere, and computational and spectral analysis methods. A listing of personnel and publications is also included. (Author)
