Secular Magnetic Variation and the Inner Proton Belt.
Abstract
A comparison of characteristic time scales for the e-folding of proton energies suggests that the secular decrease of the geomagnetic dipole moment is a more important effect than radial diffusion over much of the inner zone. (Author)
