An Improved 10 dB Coupler.
Abstract
A method is presented that accounts for the shift in center frequency due to the problem of unequal even and odd modes of propagation on a microstrip transmission line coupler. A modified coupler exhibited frequency correction and enhanced coupling bandwidth, using this method. Design expressions, experimental results, and fabrication details are given. (Author)
