Development of a Gamma Ionization Chamber for the Office of Civil Defense.

Abstract

Two ionization chambers (ORNL model Q-5043) were developed for the Office of Civil Defense to be used in their radiological environmental monitoring systems. The chambers were tested at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory and at the National Bureau of Standards. (Author)
