The Influence of Surface Roughness Flow-Through Ducts on the Hydraulic Efficiency of Centrifugal Pump Stages,

Abstract

Three series of stages were used to investigate the influence of the surface roughness of flow-through ducts on the hydraulic efficiency of centrifugal pump stages. Each different series of stages is broken down in detail and methods for its manufacture are described. The experimental part consisted of conducting normal and balance stage tests on a laboratory stand. Descriptions of the tests and results are given. (Author)
