Tensometric Friction Machine for Testing Plastics,

Abstract

A dynamic friction meter was designed and tested. It consists of a rotating steel disc against which a plastic sample is pressed with a known force, a regulating system which maintains the desired rpm rate and contact pressure, and a recorder which automatically plots the horizontal frictional force.
