A Hypersonic Gas Stream Flowing Around Conical Solids which are Slightly Different from Round Cones,

Abstract

The method suggested for isolating an anomaly in the eddy layer close to the surface of a cone with a supersonic stream flowing around it under an angle of attack is used to solve the problem of flow around a conical solid which is slightly different from a rounded cone. The solution appears accurate for smallnesses of the first order, uniformly approximating the solution in the entire disturbance region. The solution was obtained in the form of quadratures.
