'Interkomat' Telecommunications System,

Abstract

The article tells of the 'Interkomat' universal telephone communications system, developed by the RFT industrial association of East Germany with the participation of other socialist countries. The 'Interkomat' is an overall system which includes microwave systems, VHF radio-telephone mobile units, PBX exchanges, secretarial telephone equipment, and which can be expanded to provide a global communications capability.
