The Problem of Estimating the Intensity of Wear of a Cutting Instrument,

Abstract

The article deals with the problem of selecting the right type and state of the instrument material, shape of the instrument's cutting part, and a well-established designation of cutting conditions to ensure maximum production. A study has been undertaken to set up cutting conditions standards so that many factors could be studied and analyzed. The method which has been used to accomplish this is discussed. (Author)
