The Transition of Partially Stabilized Superconductive Windings into Their Normal State,

Abstract

The results of experimental research on the transition of partially stabilized superconductive solenoids with cooled and compact windings to their normal state are introduced. The transient processes for solenoids with a cooled winding are investigated both in a vat with helium I, and in a vat with superfluid helium II. The experimental data are discussed from the point of view of existing model concepts. (Author)
