The Stability of the Dispersion Method When Difference Methods Are Used for the Heat Conduction and Wave Equations (Ob Ustoichivosti Metoda Progonki pri Realizatsii Raznostnykh Skhem dlya Uravenii Teploprovodnosti i Kolebanii)

Abstract

The author proves the stability of the dispersion method on the upper layer, making the assumption that certain methods approximating the first boundary value problem of the heat conduction and wave equations are stable with respect to the initial conditions.
