Absorption of Energy by Metals in Plastic Compression as a Function of Melting Point (Pogloshchenie Energii Melallami pri Plasticheskom Szhatii v Zavisimosti ot Temperatury Plavleniya),

Abstract

Energy absorption by metals under static compression is shown to vary directly with fusion temperature. This is explained by the greater occurance of relaxation in fusible metals.
