Effect of Pinning on Infinite-Film Spin Wave Frequencies,

Abstract

In the present paper the complete dispersion relations and expressions for the mode amplitudes are derived for the general ferromagnetic normal modes of an infinite film in perpendicular resonance. Several interesting limiting cases in which the general results reduced to simple forms are considered. These limiting cases include the modes near the bottom of the manifold and those for which the transverse exchange energy is negligible. (Author)
