Research Studies in the Theory of Scattering of Electromagnetic Waves by Metallic Objects.

Abstract

The object of the research was to extend existing knowledge of classical electromagnetic theory with emphasis on the problem of determining the phase and amplitude of the eletromagnetic field scattered by a conducting body, and using knowledge of the scattered phase and amplitude to determine the size and shape of the body. The investigations pertaining to these problems are explained in the body of this report. (Author)
