Laminar Flamesheet with Hypersonic Viscous Interaction.

Abstract

A laminar flamesheet model is studied. Fuel is assumed to be injected through a semi-infinite flat plate into a hypersonic stream of oxidizer and diluent. The heat release is assumed sufficient to induce a significant pressure interaction between the hypersonic and laminar flows. Only self-similar flows are considered, and numerical results are obtained for the case of an insulated porous plate with full wall slip.
