The Effect of Tire Heterogeneity and of Different Service Conditions on the Tire Tread Wear,

Abstract

The author states that on the grounds of an analysis of road testing the tires size 8.25 to 20 and 11.00 to 20 with road treat pattern should be used at least within 12 months so that the average mileage of the withdrawn tires could characterize to a sufficient extent the durability of the entire lot of tested tires. It has been stated that the kind of the useful motor car and the service area exert a considerable influence on the value of the average tire mileage. (Author)
