Methods of Navigation and Guidance Based on Incomplete Statistical Data,

Abstract

The book presents principles of the theory of automatic vehicle control based on imcomplete data. Basic attention in it is paid to selecting the recurrent navigation and control algorithms based on digital statistical data. Methods are presented for processing the data with various statistical properties when estimating the phase coordinates of linear and nonlinear dynamic systems. Recurrent equations for the analysis and synthesis of the stochastic bounded equation are obtained. Idealized examples are examined for optimum stochastic homing and command guidance with extensive instrument extensive instrument errors and random errors in the data sensors, vigorous maneuvering of the stabilization circuit. Numerical methods are used to study the influence of control constraints on homing accuracy and average power expenditures. (Author)
