Sintered Metal Antifriction Material,

Abstract

The cermet antifriction material based on iron and containing copper and molybdenum disulfide is distinguished in that for the purpose of increasing the strength and antifriction properties, carbon and chromium are added, and the components are taken in the following ratio (in wt. percentage): chromium 2-4; carbon 2-4; copper 1.5-2.5; molybdenum disulfide 4-6; and iron the remainder.
