Field Investigation of Selected Foundation Piezometers.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to compare the behavior and relative merits of several types of piezometers through a study of field installation procedures and observational data taken over a period of years. Selected piezometers were installed at three sites with different piezometric conditions in the vicinity of Vicksburg, Miss. Descriptions of selected piezometers, installation procedures, and observational data for periods ranging from 6 months to 1 year duration after installation are included. (Author)
