Accomodation and Turbulence Projections using One and Two Year Demand Bases.

Abstract

The accuracy of projections of demand accomodation and item turbulence for two different stockage policies is investigated. The first policy compares item demand over one year of history with addition-retention levels to determine items to stock and remove in the upcoming year. The second policy is a 2 year base period policy in that it compares item demand over two consecutive years with the a-r levels. (Author)
