PERT (Program Evaluation Research Task)

Abstract

The report summarizes the work and results of the first phase of Project PERT. The task objectives were as follows: To develop methodology for providing the director Special Projects Office (SP) and the top SP managers with continuous program evaluation. This includes the following: the progress to date and the progress outlook toward accomplishing the objectives of the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBB) program - the changes in the validity of the established plans for accomplishing the program objectives - The effect of changes proposed for established plans; To establish procedures for applying the methodology as designed and tested to the over-all FBM program.
