Band Structure and Dispersion Relations in II-VI Compounds and Their Alloys.

Abstract

The work deals with the phonon dispersion relations and band structures of II - VI compounds. Among the materials investigated are CdS, ZnS, Mn doped ZnS, CdSe, CdTe, ZnTe, ZnSe, HgTe. Experimental studies included Raman scattering, infrared spectra and associated techniques. Theoretical investigations were also undertaken. (Author)
