Analysis of Strucutral Shells with Transverse Shear Deformation.

Abstract

The report describes the results of an investigation for the numerical analysis procedures of shells of revolution and consultation on the execution of shell problems at the Air Force Flight Dynamics Laboratory Facilities. A computer program for the analysis of the thick shells of revolution, the analysis of thin shells subjected to torsion and the theory upon which it is based is presented. Detailed input instructions a d three example problems are included to illustrate the added capabilities of the computer program. (Author)
