A Television Data System.
Abstract
A television Data System designed by the Applied Physics Laboratory provides a data gathering and reduction system for use in the Anti-Ship Program, Project Harpoon. The system is installed in an aircraft test bed that simulates the flight path of a guided missile. The data are returned to the Laboratory for analysis to provide information concerning hit probability, miss distance, track noise, and seeker performance. The system's electronic circuitry design and performance are described. (Author)
