A Note on the Asymptotic Distribution of the Inter-Record Times,

Abstract

Some results on the asymptotic distribution of the inter-record times in a sequence of independent observations from a continuous distribution are given. The law of the iterated logarithm is proved for the distribution of the inter-record times. (Author)
