Army Operating Cost Information System.

Abstract

The U. S. Army Field Operating Cost Agency (FOCA), under the control of the Directorate of Cost Analysis, is charged with the production and dissemination of Army operating cost information in support of the Comptroller of the Army and other Army agencies. The Army Operating Cost Information System (AOCIS) provides FOCA with a systematic capability for producing this cost information. The AOCIS was designed to perform the repetitive computational tasks that FOCA analysts had previously performed, to serve as a compact storage medium for historical data, and to produce cost reports in various cost category formats. The system is programmed in COBOL. (Author)
