Glassy Carbon, Alloys.
Abstract
The research program has as one of its main objectives to determine the possibilities of ultimately modifying the structure and properties of glassy carbon by the addition of various elements to the starting organic precursors. Another main objective is to study the effects of the application of pressure during polymerization and/or carbonization of glassy carbon precursors on the structure and properties of carbons produced.
