Effect of Systematic Errors on the Variance of Unit Weight of Triangulation Networks.

Abstract

In the first year of this project it is found that the effect of deflections of the vertical on the misclosures of a triangle can be significant, but in some cases these deflections do not affect the misclosures. The effects of the same deflections on the site conditions has been calculated for some cases but general patterns could not be recognized and firm conclusions drawn. It is expected that they will be clarified as the research continues. (Author)
