Atmospheric Model Evaluation.

Abstract

The report documents a computer program which has been developed for testing and evaluating atmospheric models. The present version of the program contains ten such models which have been evaluated using a variety of staellite orbits as test data. An important feature of the program is an ephemeris generator which requires considerably less computer time than a standard numerical integration technique. This procedure is documented in Appendix B. Complete instructions for running the program are given in Appendix A, and a description of the ten atmospheric models presently contained in the program may be found in Appendix C. (Author)
