Metal Oxide Studies - Iron Oxidation

Abstract

Iron pentacarbonly seeded CO-H2/Air flames and H2/O2/N2 flames were used to study the oxidation of iron. Iron and OH profiles were measured and the data interpreted on the basis of both kinetics and equilibration.
