Simulated Orbital Life Tests for Spacecraft Cells. Part I. Procedures and Manually Acquired Data.

Abstract

Information concerned with the life testing of sealed nickel-cadmium cells is presented under conditions which simulate both sychronous (24 hours) and polar (5.31 hours) spacecraft orbital applications. The report describes the life tests, records how cells were selected and conditioned for test groups, and summarizes all the manually acquired data. (Author)
