Effect of Stresses on Plastics Used in the Machine Industry,

Abstract

It is shown that polyformaldehyde and polycarbonates had better fatigue strength than did PVC and laminated, thermal deformation resistant materials. The notch strength had higher volues for thermoplastics than for laminated thermal deformation resistant, rigid materials. The use of the above materials as machine parts is discussed. (Author)
