Techniques for Evaluating Computer Performance,

Abstract

Two techniques for evaluating computer performance are described. The GPO technique is suitable for evaluation of the performance in business application, and the Gibson mix technique is suitable for scientific application. A table attached illustrates the performance of a series of computers produced by a large manufacturer.
