The Asynchronous Tape Recorder KMZ 1000 Described,

Abstract

The paper describes the construction and operation of a multichannel record and read system which may be used in an asynchronous, step wise, and also synchronous, continuous, mode. The fast start-stop facility permits the processing of the recording in block separated by gaps. An NRZI method of recording with a density of 200, 400, 556, and 800 bpi is used. (Author)
