Some Double and Triple Space-Time Correlation Measurements in a Boundary Layer.

Abstract

New measurements of filtered space-time correlation were performed in a turbulent boundary layer for the longitudinal velocity component with space separation longitudinally and normally to the wall. The celerities along stream wise direction are obtained and discussed. The first triple space-time correlations are presented and their pattern explained in terms of Taylor's hypothesis. (Author)
