Pattern Threshold Recognition Device.

Abstract

The purpose of this contract is to further develop the pattern threshold recognition device by studying its electron optics and target. To make the device more practical, mechanical and processing improvements to extend the tube's lifetime are desired. A demountable electron-optical test bench has been designed and is being fabricated. A processing schedule with rigorous outgassing of the tube's electrodes is being evaluated in test tubes.
