Transfer of Thermal Microwaves in the Atmosphere. Volume II,
Abstract
The primary emphasis in this investigation has been to investigate the propagation of microwave radiation in the atmosphere. The ultimate goal of this study is to determine the feasibility of utilizing microwave radiometric ststens ib spacecraft for use in making meaningful meteorological observations. The author has made a thorough, theoretical study of atmospheric absorption and scattering by liquid hydrometeors. This report, Volume II, contains figures and tabular information that is supplemental to Volume I. (Author)
