Abstract

The study examines Burmese reaction to the format of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), its relations with the members of ASEAN, and other foreign and domestic factors that might affect Burmese participation in ASEAN and/or other organizations for Southeast Asian regional cooperation.
