Telephone Instrument Production in Poland,

Abstract

The author discusses the state of telephone-instrument and telephone-component production in Poland, along with the development trends in evidence at the three prime manufacturing facilities engaged in this sector. The important role of the Institute of Telecommunications Research and Studies at Warsaw, as the coordinating link in the production chain, is especially emphasized. A number of Polish-developed telephones and telephone components (microphones, earphone inserts, etc.) are briefly described. (Author)
