Lubricating-Cooling Liquid for Cold and Hot Treatment of Metals,

Abstract

The lubricating-cooling liquid for cold and hot treatment of metals, based on water and polyethylene glycol ester of fatty acid, is distinguished by the fact that for the purpose of improving the effectiveness of the liquid its composition includes the polyoxyethylated octadecyl alcohol with 20 moles of ethylene oxide and a mineral oil or synthetic or natural fat or a mixture thereof; it contains 4-12 percent mineral oil or synthetic or natural fat or a mixture thereof, 0.04-0.12 percent of polyoxyethlated octadecyl alcohol with 20 moles of ethylene oxide, 1-2.5 percent of polyethylene glycol ester of fatty acid, and water to make 100 percent; and polyethylene glycol ester of stearic acid is used as the polyethylene glycol ester of fatty acid.
