Power Supply of Accelerated Particles of Identical Energy,

Abstract

The paper describes in detail the invention of a source of equal energy accelerated particles. The unit contains a resonance transformer with a yoke divided into segments and with an accelerator tube built into the yoke and is characterized by the fact that the transformer has a strong inductive coupling between the windings, as well as a supplementary oscillatory circuit with lumped capacitance. The accelerator tube is equipped with lead shields to limit the area of radiation propagation. The injector has a control grid, connected with the control system, to stabilize the voltage in the tube. (Author)
