Abstract

The book furnishes diagrams, calculation methods, characteristics, and designs of power capacitor batteries and their basic elements: capacitors, various types of spark gaps (vacuum, high pressure, solid dielectric), insulation of junction circuits (bushbars, cables), and pulse transformers. Methods of calculating magnetic fields, as well as inductance in solenoids and conductors, are given. The design and behavior of metals in superstrong magnetic fields are examined. (Author)
