Heat Conductivity of Gases and Liquids

Abstract

The report represents a systematized and critical survey of the basic experimental data for the most widely studied substances in liquid and gaseous states (for helium, neon, argon, krypton, xenon, hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, air, carbon dioxide, ammonia, ten hydrocarbons, carbon tetrachloride, ethyl alcohol and water). Tables of the most reliable values of the thermal conductivity of all the cited substances in a wide range of temperatures and pressures have been compiled.
