The Proximity Effect in Systems of Parallel Conductors and Electrically Small Multiturn Loop Antennas

Abstract

In the report losses in systems of parallel sound conductors are studied. Both the normal skin effect loss and the additional loss due to the close proximity of adjacent conductors are considered. The results obtained for the parallel conductors are used to evaluate the radiation efficiency of electrically small multiturn loop antennas.
