The Determination of the Content of Beta-Indolyl-Acetic Acid in Plants,

Abstract

Heteroauxin - the beta-indolyl-acetic acid (IYK) as an endogenous regulator of growth, exerts various influences on the processes occurring in plants. The aim of the research was, by means of the radiation of features of the methods of the analysis of IYK, to evaluate the possibility of using them (as a whole or in separate treatments) to determine the content of the endogenous beta-indolyl-acetic acid of vegetable tissues. This was accomplished by using solvent extraction and chromatographic analysis. IYK was detected using fluorescent spectroscopy.
