On Schur's Complement.
Abstract
The concept of Schur's complement introduced in 1968 by E. V. Haynsworth has been since repetedly discussed. One part of these discussions were concerned with the proofs of Haynsworth's quotient formula. Since publishing a paper concerned with a new proof of this formula, the author found that a further discussion of Schur's complement is rather rewarding and obtained in this way still another proof of Haynsworth's formula.
