Abelian Codes.
Abstract
Ideals of the convolution algebra of an abelian group are studied as correcting codes. Such codes which are Kronecker products of cyclic codes are characterized. A code with length 49, dimension 18 and distance 12 is exhibited, which is not a Kronecker product. (Author)
