Analysis in the Near Infrared - A Short Review.
Abstract
The use of near infrared spectroscopy is briefly reviewed. Presented are the location of the absorption bands of various groups containing covalently bound hydrogen. As little as 20 ppm of impurity can be detected under favourable conditions.
