Parameters of Radiation Sensitivity.

Abstract

A review of the research from the three previous reports is presented and evaluated. New data is presented on the use of total body mineral element content as a parameter of insect radiation sensitivity. The minerals studied were copper, magnesium, sodium, potassium, and iron. The three predictor equations generated by the new research are presented and tables of observed versus predictive values are given. The status of current research is also presented. (Author)
